ome workers survive the rust. Others become part of it. The Ferric Abominations are two grotesquely transformed creatures from the Rust Legion: masses of distorted flesh, corroded iron and human features that have almost disappeared beneath the mutation.
This pair takes the range beyond infected infantry into full body horror. Metal grows through muscle instead of sitting over it as armour. Thick tendrils coil around swollen bodies, iron replaces teeth and claws, and the remains of human faces emerge in places they should never have been. The result is a pair of unsettling tabletop creatures with the same industrial character as the rest of the Rust Legion.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
Two distinct physical resin miniatures, supplied unpainted: one Crucible Maw and one Tanglewrought. Both designs are included in the unit. The main painted image shows the Crucible Maw as a representative; the individual grey images show each creature separately, and the contents slide features the Tanglewrought.
THE TWO DESIGNS
The Crucible Maw is built around a huge vertical mouth that has split its torso. A displaced human face remains above a massive clawed limb, while heavy iron growths and a coiled tendon tail break up its silhouette. Its raised claw and compact supporting stance give the impression of a body continually fighting against its own transformation.
The Tanglewrought is broad and hunched, with two human faces caught in the mass above its gaping mouth. Thick coils of flesh bind the back and shoulders, punctured by hooked iron growths. A raised heavy claw reaches forward from an imposing body supported by two compactly placed feet. Shared textures connect the pair while their faces, mouths and upper-body silhouettes distinguish them.
SCALE AND BASING
These are bulky mutant creatures designed to accompany the HGM human-scale range. The recommended base footprint is 50mm round for each model. Base guidance is separate from model height: the two poses have different silhouettes and should not be interpreted as equal-height figures. See the final product options for base inclusion and any confirmed dimensions.
ON THE TABLETOP
Use the pair as rampaging mutant beasts, failed foundry experiments, corrupted guardians or dangerous encounters in industrial science-fiction campaigns. Their natural weapons and distorted bodies suit close-combat creature roles and narrative horror scenarios. Check the basing and model requirements of your chosen game when using them for a particular unit role.
PAINTING IDEAS
The contrast between flesh and iron is the heart of these designs. Pale, bruised or sickly skin can make the corroded plates and metal teeth stand out, while dark recesses give depth to the mouths and crowded folds. Orange-brown weathering, blackened iron and restrained metallic highlights link them to Rust Legion troops. The raised growths and broad muscle surfaces also give painters room to experiment with different stages of petrification.

Are these physical miniatures or STL files?
Unless a listing explicitly says it is a digital item, our miniature listings are for physical resin prints. Models are supplied unpainted and may require assembly, cleanup and normal hobby preparation. Scale, base and unit-size options are shown on each listing.
How long will my order take?
Our estimated dispatch time is 1–4 weeks, with delivery time added after dispatch. The current estimate is shown on each listing and during checkout. Every order is printed, checked and packed in-house. Large, personalised or unusually complex orders may require additional production time. Please contact us before ordering if you have a specific deadline.
Do the miniatures arrive painted?
Unless a listing clearly states otherwise, our miniatures are supplied as physical unpainted resin prints. Painted examples are used to demonstrate the sculpt and possible finished appearance.
Will the miniatures require assembly?
Some miniatures are supplied in multiple parts and may require assembly, support removal and normal hobby preparation. Please read the individual listing contents before ordering.
Are bases included?
Base inclusion varies between products and will be stated in the individual listing. Where a base is included, our standard option is normally a plain plastic base. Please contact us before ordering if you require confirmation or would like to discuss a resin-printed base.
Can you print miniatures at a different scale?
Alternative scales may be possible depending on the model. Please message us before ordering so we can check the dimensions, durability and price. Enlarging or reducing a model may affect small details and connection strength.
How do shipping, combined postage and customs work?
We currently do not ship to EU destinations. For every other available destination, Etsy shows delivery options at checkout.
