Ten ancestral warriors, each carrying the repairs of a long service. The Kilnward Infantry form the dependable fighting ranks of the KilnBorn Legion: broad, stubborn dwarf soldiers with segmented ceramic beards, reinforced armour and compact industrial weapons.
This original Highland Gaming Minis squad brings the KilnBorn story into a complete infantry unit. In their fictional world, bodies are formed from Kinclay, an ancestral ceramic that carries fragments from earlier generations. Cracks are repaired, worn plates are replaced, and every substantial clasp becomes part of a warrior's history. The result is a distinctive science-fiction dwarf collection with expressive faces, practical equipment and a strong shared identity.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
Ten individual miniatures in the fixed poses and equipment configurations shown across the listing images:
• One squad leader with a pistol, powered axe and backpack crest.
• Seven rifle infantry in guard, aiming, patrol, braced, advancing, watch and kneeling poses.

This listing is intended for physical unpainted grey resin miniatures. It is not a digital download or an STL bundle. The weapons belong to the particular figures shown; this is not a modular kit containing every possible equipment option. The painted hero image shows the squad leader as a representative example. The remaining images identify the individual figures supplied.
A COHERENT SQUAD
The Kilnward share rounded ceramic armour, reinforced boots, repaired beards and compact backpack furnaces. Different stances give the unit a natural rhythm without turning it into a collection of unrelated designs. The leader is identifiable by his crest and axe, while the two specialist weapons have distinct silhouettes. The kneeling trooper belongs to the same anatomical scale as the standing figures and naturally occupies less height.
PAINTING THE KILNBORN
Our illustrated palette pairs warm ivory armour with terracotta beard segments, aged bronze repair hardware and charcoal mechanisms. Small amber accents inside the furnace grille can suggest an inner heat. The broad ceramic surfaces also invite different approaches: clean glazed colours, weathered pottery, contrasting replacement plates or individual ancestral fragments picked out within a beard. Painted effects are examples only; all figures are supplied unpainted.
TABLETOP AND DISPLAY
Use the Kilnward as a science-fiction dwarf infantry squad, an industrial expedition's armed escort or a narrative force in compatible tabletop games. The rifle line, commanding leader and specialist gunners make their roles readable across the table. No official game rules or cards are included, and game compatibility depends on your chosen rules and organiser.
BASING AND SIZE
A 28.5 mm round gaming base is recommended for each figure. This identifies the intended basing format, not the height of the miniature. Final printed dimensions and assembly details will be added once the production meshes have been measured and checked. Base inclusion will be specified in the final product options; a basing recommendation does not itself promise supplied bases.
MATERIAL AND FINISH
Kinclay is part of the faction's fictional setting. The intended physical products are resin miniatures, not ceramic or metal castings. Minor preparation may be needed before priming and painting. The illustrated kiln setting and painted finishes are display suggestions and are not supplied.

Custom and personalised orders
Message us through Etsy with clear reference images and the size or intended use you have in mind. We will confirm what is possible and provide a clear quotation through an Etsy custom order before paid work begins. Any digital design or preparation and physical printing included in the price will be stated in that custom order. Please keep all discussion and payment on Etsy.
Are these physical miniatures or STL files?
Unless a listing explicitly says it is a digital item, our miniature listings are for physical resin prints. Models are supplied unpainted and may require assembly, cleanup and normal hobby preparation. Scale, base and unit-size options are shown on each listing.
How long will my order take?
Our estimated dispatch time is 1–4 weeks, with delivery time added after dispatch. The current estimate is shown on each listing and during checkout. Every order is printed, checked and packed in-house. Large, personalised or unusually complex orders may require additional production time. Please contact us before ordering if you have a specific deadline.
Do the miniatures arrive painted?
Unless a listing clearly states otherwise, our miniatures are supplied as physical unpainted resin prints. Painted examples are used to demonstrate the sculpt and possible finished appearance.
Will the miniatures require assembly?
Some miniatures are supplied in multiple parts and may require assembly, support removal and normal hobby preparation. Please read the individual listing contents before ordering.
Are bases included?
Base inclusion varies between products and will be stated in the individual listing. Where a base is included, our standard option is normally a plain plastic base. Please contact us before ordering if you require confirmation or would like to discuss a resin-printed base.
Can you print miniatures at a different scale?
Alternative scales may be possible depending on the model. Please message us before ordering so we can check the dimensions, durability and price. Enlarging or reducing a model may affect small details and connection strength.
How do shipping, combined postage and customs work?
We currently do not ship to EU destinations. For every other available destination, Etsy shows delivery options at checkout.
Etsy automatically applies our reduced multi-item postage pricing, so additional items are not charged the full individual rate.
For US deliveries, import duties and fees are included in the checkout price. Buyers in other international destinations may be charged local customs, taxes or import fees by their country.
