Rustbound Mutants are a sixteen-design physical resin range from the original Highland Gaming Minis Rust Legion Cult. Choose any named pose, the ten Lesser Mutants, the six Heavy Horrors, or the complete unit of sixteen for tabletop battles, narrative encounters, roleplaying games, miniature painting and display.

ABOUT THIS UNIT
The foundry does not release its workers. It changes them. The Rustbound Mutants are human figures overtaken by an infection that turns flesh into corroded iron. Some retain the clothes, stance and outline of the workers they once were. Others have swollen into heavy horrors, dragging metal limbs beneath furnace-like backs or standing almost motionless as their bodies become rusted statues.
Shared workwear, pitted metal surfaces, riveted fittings and human remnants connect all sixteen designs to the Rust Legion Cult, while each mutation and pose remains distinct.
THE TWO BODY CLASSES
The ten Lesser Mutants retain human-scale bodies, boots and clothing. Their transformations range from a single heavy iron arm to a sealed metallic jaw, plated chest, rigid spine or an entire side of the body petrifying into rusted metal.
The six Heavy Horrors are more severely distorted. Grounded knuckles, thick claws, swollen iron torsos and heavy back growths replace ordinary human proportions, while remnants of faces and industrial clothing preserve their connection to the lesser figures.
BUYER OPTIONS
Choose any named design for one fixed-pose miniature. Choose Lesser Set (10) to receive one of every Lesser Mutant, Heavy Set (6) to receive one of every Heavy Horror, or Full Unit (16) to receive one of every design.
Choose Without Base for the selected resin miniature or set only. Choose With Base to receive one matching plain round gaming base per miniature: 25 mm for each Lesser Mutant and 40 mm for each Heavy Horror. Mixed sets receive the matching combination automatically.
The hero image shows Furnaceback Torment as a painted presentation example. It is one of the sixteen listed designs and is not a separate extra model.
TABLETOP USES
Build a corrupted foundry encounter, mutant melee mob, narrative campaign threat or display of progressive metallic infection. The complete range can also be organised into two visual groups of five Lesser Mutants and three Heavy Horrors.
PHYSICAL RESIN MINIATURES
The selected miniatures are supplied unpainted. Paints, glue, tools and other hobby materials are not included.
Each miniature is printed, cleaned, cured and inspected before dispatch. A small amount of normal resin-model preparation may be required, including removing minor support marks, lightly filing contact points, dry fitting parts and assembling where applicable with suitable cyanoacrylate superglue. Polystyrene plastic cement is not suitable for resin miniatures.
Small variations in resin colour or shade may occur between production batches. These variations do not affect the detail or intended use of the miniatures.
PRESENTATION IMAGES
Painted examples and atmospheric artwork demonstrate the character of the designs. Clean white-background images show the exact supplied designs. The physical product supplied is the selected unpainted resin miniature or set described above. Scenery and display backgrounds are not included.
ORIGINAL HIGHLAND GAMING MINIS DESIGN
This is an original Highland Gaming Minis product developed through a directed creative process using AI-assisted concept and 3D design tools. The final models were selected, refined, prepared for production and approved by Highland Gaming Minis.
All physical miniatures are produced, cleaned, cured, quality checked and packed by Highland Gaming Minis in our Inverness studio. We do not use an external print-on-demand fulfilment service.

These miniatures are intended for tabletop gaming, miniature painting, collecting and display. This is a specialist hobby product containing small parts and is not a toy.

Where there has been a genuine packing error or transit breakage, we will usually resolve this by sending the specific missing or damaged part needed to complete your original order.

Custom and personalised orders
Message us through Etsy with clear reference images and the size or intended use you have in mind. We will confirm what is possible and provide a clear quotation through an Etsy custom order before paid work begins. Any digital design or preparation and physical printing included in the price will be stated in that custom order. Please keep all discussion and payment on Etsy.
Are these physical miniatures or STL files?
Unless a listing explicitly says it is a digital item, our miniature listings are for physical resin prints. Models are supplied unpainted and may require assembly, cleanup and normal hobby preparation. Scale, base and unit-size options are shown on each listing.
How long will my order take?
Our estimated dispatch time is 1–4 weeks, with delivery time added after dispatch. The current estimate is shown on each listing and during checkout. Every order is printed, checked and packed in-house. Large, personalised or unusually complex orders may require additional production time. Please contact us before ordering if you have a specific deadline.
Do the miniatures arrive painted?
Unless a listing clearly states otherwise, our miniatures are supplied as physical unpainted resin prints. Painted examples are used to demonstrate the sculpt and possible finished appearance.
Will the miniatures require assembly?
Some miniatures are supplied in multiple parts and may require assembly, support removal and normal hobby preparation. Please read the individual listing contents before ordering.
Are bases included?
Base inclusion varies between products and will be stated in the individual listing. Where a base is included, our standard option is normally a plain plastic base. Please contact us before ordering if you require confirmation or would like to discuss a resin-printed base.
Can you print miniatures at a different scale?
Alternative scales may be possible depending on the model. Please message us before ordering so we can check the dimensions, durability and price. Enlarging or reducing a model may affect small details and connection strength.
How do shipping, combined postage and customs work?
We currently do not ship to EU destinations. For every other available destination, Etsy shows delivery options at checkout.
Etsy automatically applies our reduced multi-item postage pricing, so additional items are not charged the full individual rate.
For US deliveries, import duties and fees are included in the checkout price. Buyers in other international destinations may be charged local customs, taxes or import fees by their country.
